Print an Alignment Pattern for a Document

Printing an alignment pattern is the easiest way to preview a document. You can print an alignment pattern for any notice scheduled in the Notices Queue or from any document specification on the Document Maintenance dialog.

  1. Go to PRINTING > Notices Queue.
  2. Click Utilities > Print Alignment Pattern.
  3. On the Select Document dialog, find the document, highlight it, and click Select Document. The Windows Print dialog displays.
  4. Select the printer where you want to send the document.

  2. On the Select Document dialog, select the document you want.
  3. On the Document Maintenance dialog, click Pattern Alignment on the toolbar. The Windows Print dialog displays.
  4. Select the printer where you want to send the document.
